Sorry, I wasn't sure whether you were searching with parsed queries
(`gnus-search-use-parsed-queries' -> t) or not.

Nothing has changed since our last exchange, no. Do you have
`nnir-imap-default-search-key' set to "gmail"? I may need to check for
that and leave the query alone.
