Agreed on the first, about not distributing the generated
jitter-config.h .  (At least on the intent: does this always need to be
done for a package using Jitter in sub-package mode?  If so I want to
change it in the future, but this is not for the release.)

About the second patch please give me a little time.  I might fix it in
a slightly different way.  Will be on IRC tonight.
