Yep, this is very strange. We have no SuSe here, and the code works using many 
versions of gcc (from 3.0 to 3.2.1), on Debian/i386 on MacOS-X and windows.

If you encounter any difficulty, do not hesitate.

Thanks for the links. After version 1 the roadmap will include unstructured 
meshes (in fact this is already nearly implemented)!
