Tyan's M3291 SMDC should support IPMI-2.0. Tyan planned to release
it to the market in March 05 (Its Apr now). Intel boards already
support IPMI-2.0 in their Xeon64 platforms. So I don't think we
need to worry about those proprietary SOL extensions in IPMI-1.5 any
more. Any comments?

they (intel) are STILL selling SOL 1.5 boards and have sold many many many of them.

I have too many to count (intel SE7501BR2).
Well, OK I can count to 60 but that's still a quite a few.
