Hello at all,
i’m trying to use freeipmi tools in my debian installation (on a microserver proliant hp) but there is no way to work..

address@hidden:~# bmc-info
could not find inband device
address@hidden:~# ipmi-sensors
could not find inband device
address@hidden:~#

in dmesg:
[117664.327176] bmc-info:5860 map pfn expected mapping type uncached-minus for d7fa0000-d7fa1000, got write-back [117664.327197] bmc-info:5860 map pfn expected mapping type uncached-minus for d7fa0000-d7fa1000, got write-back [117664.328223] bmc-info:5860 map pfn expected mapping type uncached-minus for d7fa0000-d7fa1000, got write-back [117664.329762] bmc-info:5860 map pfn expected mapping type uncached-minus for d7fa0000-d7fa1000, got write-back

I'm "sure" i've a ipmisensors becouse this is the output of lm_sensors:

Driver `ipmisensors':
 * ISA bus
   Chip `IPMI BMC KCS' (confidence: 8)

But lm_sensors have not the driver too and not work..

What can i try ?
Thank you
Bye
Fabio C.
