The fact IPMI 2.0 (i.e. lanplus) works but not IPMI 1.5 works is
curious. Is the output from:
bmc-config --checkout -vv
identical on both .23 and .24?
Have you tried "-D lan_2_0" with ipmi-sensors to try and force ipmi 2.0
on .24?
