[FR-devel] Running freeride on debian gnu linux

Hello freerider,

please can someone enlight me how to get freeride running. I have
problems with the FXRuby-Scintilla stuff, I think:

plugins/System_GuiRenderFox/foxhacks.rb:45:in `initialize': wrong # of
arguments(4 for 0) (ArgumentError)
        from plugins/System_GuiRenderFox/foxhacks.rb:45:in `new'
        from plugins/System_GuiRenderFox/foxhacks.rb:45:in
`hackAppFrameSetup'
        from ./plugins/System_GuiRenderFox/AppFrameRenderFox.rb:89:in
`initialize'
[...]

Line 45 in foxhacks.rb reads:

scintilla = FXScintilla.new(@contentFrame, nil, 0, LAYOUT_FILL_X|LAYOUT_FILL_Y)

I have the following environment:

linux 2.4.18 (GNU Debian)
ruby 1.6.7 - debian package ruby 1.6.7-4
fxruby-1.0.10 - compiled locally
fxscintilla-1.46.1 - compiled locally
freeride - today's cvs

I read something about a patch for fxruby to support a newer fxscintilla. Would
someone tell me please what to patch and where?
