Well... I've had no time to try the last Freeride from CVS yet.
About the FXRuby-1.0.10 patch to make it work with FXScintilla-1.46.1,
it is very simple: you just have to change the name of the FXScintilla
library to be linked with FXRuby. In:

        FXRuby-1.0.10/ext/fox/Makefile

change -lscintilla to -lfxscintilla.

One more thing: be sure to configure FXRuby to embed FXScintilla:

        ruby install.rb config -- --with-scintilla
