I have spotted some minor artifacts at large sizes, too, but what I found
more annoying is that it looked rather jagged on almost horizontal lines
and curves.

I just checked it out and in this regard it's *much* better! Thanks.

It does look a lot more fuzzy indeed (FullFuzz(tm) ;-). For graphics and
large sizes that's not a problem at all, but I must say the "old" raster
looks quite a bit better for small text.
