Just to be sure,
freetype manage bitmap and pixmap.
- bitmap is a 1 bit map (0 white and 1 black)
- pixmap is a 8 bits per pixel map with only 5 colors (with a palette)
is it possible to generate a 256 gray scale pixmap (with or without palette)
with freetype?
is it possible to generate a 16, 24 or 32 bits true color pixmap with
freetype?
