Why should the number of spam rejections since Sunday be posted to the fsfe-uk mailing list?
Putting two and two together to get five...It's possible that automatic bayesian filter type spam systems can accidently learn to reject non-english emails (because all "good" emails are in english and some "bad" emails are in random non-english languages). This is not a problem until someone breaks the pattern and sends a "good" email in a non-english language (such as Welsh).
There are a number of solutions to the problem, none of them perfect. The spam system can be better configured, the administrator can explicit mark some non-english language mails as "good," or the poster can send bi-lingual messages so that the english content words get the message marked as "good" and teach the filter about Welsh.
I believe this is a problem globally with minority languages. cheers stuart -- Stuart Yeates address@hidden OSS Watch http://www.oss-watch.ac.uk/ Humbul Humanities Hub http://www.humbul.ac.uk/
