[Gcl-devel] Does the --enable-ansi config option work?

I tried ./configure --enable-ansi.  When I built, the
compile died with a segfault when compiling macros.lisp.
(This is on an x86, RedHat linux, kernel 2.4.16, compiling
the head branch as of Aug. 3 2002.)

Is this a known breakage related to --enable-ansi?  When
I do not include that option the build proceeds normally.
