and it seems to work on both 2.6.11 and 2.6.12.

What is macports? 

         http://www.macports.org/

`port search gcl` currently lists gcl-2.6.11 as most current version.

 

If someone can

cd unixport
make raw_pre_gcl
readelf -a raw_pre_gcl

and post the output, that would be helpful.
