Dear Nicolò,

I guess that the error is due to incompatibility between 32bit matlab
and the 64bit library (i.e. gf_matlab.mexw64).
The error occurs when a 32bit application tries to load 64bit libraries.

Please check your matlab with this:
https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/96172-how-can-i-determine-if-i-am-running-a-32-bit-version-of-matlab-or-a-64-bit-version-of-matlab

If 32bit matlab is running, installing 64bit matlab instead may
resolve the problem.

Best Regards,
Alex Spring
