There are only the tests in libbase, then? They pass for me.
In misc-ming.all some executable are created, but nothing is run
with make check.

It is compiled with debugging symbols. However I am not completly
sure on what's going on with the test, like which test is failing,
nor how to reproduce the test outside of make check. The comand
used to run the test isn't printed, so I can't reproduce it using gdb
nor outside of make check.
