        My opinion as a user. I too have a 64bit system and use Gnash
as there's no flash player available for 64bit. Of course there's the
philosophical aspect too of freedom, but in this case, as Gnash still
doesn't plays video, I'd be using the official player if there's one
for 64bit.

        As maybe it will take many months until Adobe provides a 64bit
plugin, Gnash could step ahead and provide video support. This would be
amazing since for the rest (like sites using menus or banners) Gnash
has been acceptable here.

        I know there's a lot of work to do, but from the user point of
view, the most expected "feature" is video playback.

        Ps: for a while I'm using a firefox extension to download the
video and I'm watching with MPlayer (which can play .flv videos).

        Ps2: since Adobe is unable to provide a 64bit plugin, it could
at least help Gnash developers to speed up its development. I know it's
a utopia, but... :)

        Ps3: regarding release issues, yes, a more frequent release
process is a stimulus for more users to test Gnash (it's like the
Linux kernel... the real world test is when there's the official
release).
