Ok, fixed some items according your feedback...

a) "gNEWSENSE" replaced for "gNewSense" in the upper right corner...

b) tip "Please enter your username", removed...

c) squares were added besides menu options in the lower left corner...

d) tweaked some levels of contrasts between gradients...

well, this could be improved by sure, but it's a good starting point...

Someone said that "Free as in Freedom" could be confuse for other languages, i think that is like a "watermark" of the project, i.e. translated to spanish or french have no sense, in spanish we use "libre" for "free as in freedom" and "gratis" for "a free beer", in french it is the same, "gratuit" and "libre", therefore translation at least in these case, its just a redundancy, it's just my opinion...
