That puts the focus very much on the former. It does not make the latter obvious at all to people who are unfamiliar with gNewSense.
Also "spreading awareness" is a common terminology used for introducing social change, so it has the proper ring to it.
Maybe, but that association doesn't immediately spring to my mind. Will it for our target audience?
