I have installed gNewSense 2.3 on a computer running Mandriva 2008. I
bought a new hard disc, which I dedicated to gNewSense which I boot
through grub in my Mandriva boot partition on another disc. It all seems
to be working properly except that I have no network connection of any
kind under gNewSense. The only connection that shows in the <forgotten
its name> administration window is ppp. The computer is on a local
ethernet network of two computers and two printers, and connection to the
outside world is through a linksys switch, all of which works, and has
worked for along time, under Mandriva. I cannot find any way of telling
gNewSense that eth0 is out there. Any suggestions?
