Stable = without too many visible bugs in main functions, usable in
normal work.
Unstable = many things work or not (work sometimes), many people report
bugs.

It's interesting. I can say the same. The same can say Jan Kratochvil
and other. It's everything relative.
I can also say, that you don't see anything outside your opinion. If
something is not usefull for you, you simply drop it. Only when someone
think 100% like you, you don't putrefy him. That's how you make it.
To know it for you: I don't think, you spent 3 or 4 hours on reading my
patch3. This is the time, I had to spend to find, where exactly
"include" and other things are messed. But it isn't important, because
it works FOR YOU with "correct" gcc.
I tried to make compromise (3 patches one after one with almost the same
stuff) and answer on everything and other. The best is the fact, that
the same mygnokii stuff, when put in CVS by "right" guys, is put without
any problems. But it isn't important now.
Good developer should always find solution from situation, when there is
conflict. When 5 people (at least I show 5, because I remember them now)
have different opinions from your, maybe not they, but YOU think wrong ?
How do you know it ?
You also (because probably Hugh contacted with you) can't even answer to
my questions like: what is the future plan for the project ? I tried to
answer on each, even uncomfortable, question. You don't.
Users are also not important for you. If they are, you should allow to
make something for project. You didn't allow and now THE SAME source
will be moved to gnokii by other "right" (in your eyes) guys. They will
make it, but it will be done partially and without some important
details. More errors info, more spent time on finding, etc.
Nice project made by few guys for few guys. This is how it look for me.
I will change this opinion only, when I will see sensible reasons from
you or other. But you can't give them, because they don't exist...
Pozdrowienia/Best Regards
