Hi Papa,

        under redhat 6.2 (sparc64), I succeeded
in compiling almost everything, except the po/
directory:

gmake -C po
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/gnokii-0.5.5/po'
Makefile:15: *** missing separator.  Stop.
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/gnokii-0.5.5/po'
make: *** [po] Error 2


address@hidden gnokii-0.5.5]# cat /etc/redhat-release 
Red Hat Linux release 6.2 (Zoot)


Here is what seems to cause the problem, at ./configure
tage: 

checking for a BSD compatible install... (cached) /usr/bin/install -c
./configure: AM_ICONV: command not found
checking for libintl.h... (cached) yes
./configure: AM_GNU_GETTEXT: command not found
checking for include/config.h.in... yes


But I have gettext installed:

address@hidden gnokii-0.5.5]# type gettext
gettext is /usr/bin/gettext

address@hidden gnokii-0.5.5]# rpm -qf /usr/bin/gettext
gettext-0.10.35-17


I don't know much about gettext, but it's probably
a little tweaking to do .. anyone know about how
to tweak this ?
