Below is a post telling that these files live in /usr/share/aclocal
is it ok on your system ? (unfortunatelly I can't check mine at
this time, cause my sun only boot from network for an unknown 
openfirmware reason :-( )

These are provided by gettext in /usr/share/aclocal (in files iconv.m4,
codeset.m4 and gettext.m4). Please check that they're installed in the
correct place).
