Hello,
I have a Nokia 6125 and I want to have it connected with my Linux box
(2.6.18 kernel) using USB MA 8630C cable. Note that the above cable works
perfectly under windows, so it's not a faulty one.
I 've installed Gnokii 0.6.14 and I connected the phone and I got :
Sep 27 14:55:53 lizard usb 4-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and
address 6
Sep 27 14:55:53 lizard usb 4-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
But no device node is created (/dev/ttyUSB[01] ?) and therefore I 'm unable
to use gnokii (same happens when I create the device manually). My question
is what options must be built into the kernel in order for the device nodes
to be created? Is there any report that Nokia 6125 is not working with
Gnokii? I 'd just want to have access to the phone memory no internet
connection facilities needed.
Thanks
D.
