I have an issue with a Nokia 6210 attached to a RHEL4 server. We use this to send SMS messages from a nagios using gnokii 0.6.19 - this all worked fine for many years until sometime over the last week when it decided to stop working.
I went into the comms room and noticed the serial cable was slightly out of the phone socket, as if someone had snagged it and pulled it slightly out by mistake.
I have power cycled the phone, and rebooted the server, both to no avail - the phone
doesn't seem to respond to gnokii any more....

Any ideas on what i can try to resurrect this? I am searching for a replacement phone but 6210's are hard to come by....
