I think it also shows that it would be worth some effort to write a
good timing control. I.e. one which would make GNU Go use most of the
allowed time in a Computer Go Tournament, but still be reliable in never
running out of time. Not sure how good --autolevel is in this respect.

(I assume GNU Go's users would also very much appreciate this feature
once it's automatically triggered from their client via gtp.)
