The CVS repository is new. Create a new directory and use the same command to
do a clean checkout.

cvs -z3 -d:ext:address@hidden:/sources/gnuherds-app co

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:address@hidden:/sources/gnuherds-app co

Thanks, now I can checkout as anonymous.

However, I've registered with Savannah, and I can't checkout with my own user. From TortoiseCVS:

In C:\: "C:\Program Files\TortoiseCVS\cvs.exe" -q -z6 checkout -P gnuherds-app

cvs checkout: warning: unrecognized response `No supported authentication methods left to try!
' from cvs server
cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)

I was not asked for a password.
