I use the debian distro.
The commands I use are:
jade -t sgml -ihtml -d
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/stylesheet/dsssl/ldp/ldp.dsl#html user-manual.sgml >
index.html
and
jade -t sgml -ihtml -d
/usr/share/sgml/docbook/stylesheet/dsssl/ldp/ldp.dsl#html
developer-manual.sgml > index.html
