gmLoginInfo contains the information to login into the default ("configuration") server only. It is up to gmPG to find out whether there are distributed services, and if so, to figure out how to log onto these.
Thus, the login information for the Backend listener is processed by gmPG first; after all, the backend listener should only be invoked via gmPG anyway.
