Well, yes. But before blaming something else I check my own
code. However, I just verified with Tony that he does have
non-garbled files in python-common. So, indeed it seems
there's a screwup somewhere in the package installation. It
does things it shouldn't be able to do such as jump from
function definitions to parts of the module initialization.
