Yes it will but it is too slow for use. Same for FKs via
dblink.
I am working on "deferred" remote FKs: the FK values being
checked by a cron script at convenient times and violations
reported back in a standard table.
The lot implemented in a schema file (gmCrossDB_FKs.sql) to
be imported into GnuMed service databases when needed much
like gmAudit, gmSchemaRevision and gmI8n.
