what about having data transfer objects with access/set methods to let the compiler check field names instead of string map keys? I wouldn't mind doing that for the current clinical panels,and it wouldn't change any logic. It would also look 'clean'.
On the other hand, corbamed doesn't do that, but just puts its string key constants in a module
to be imported. Is that acceptable?
