no, but I thought it was relevant to the topic of EHR, since people were discussing the belgium ehr model. I suppose you could try to map a gnumed clinical / demographic record to a MUMPS heirarchical array to learn MUMPS, as well as find out what heirarchical databases are like compared to relational ones. The "query" mechanism of MUMPS looks attractive , specify the instance values of each path element of a path to a piece in the EHR as a list. e.g. in gnumed find("xlnk_identity.clin_encounter.lab_request.test_result" . [4,1,1,1] )Why, is GnuMed going to be re-written in MUMPS? Tim C
