Canadian Postal Reference was a source of ideas on field naming and 
other needs:

For example they describe "Additional address information" which 
could be useful to describe where within a building a person should 
look for, or an item must be mailed or delivered - akin to karsten's 
"2nd floor, behind decrepit door"

If it is agreed "unit number" should be split off from "addendum", 
then "addendum" still serves a descriptive purpose. Perhaps we can 
rename/add the field addr_line0 to indicate the info is likely to 
"belong to" or "go" below the person identifier but above the 
main/street address line.
