Sorry, my plans have been delayed for several reasons and I'm absolutely
unhappy about this. I had to delay for several reasons. If your
*really* want to get Debian packages I would love if you try the packages
I provided under ...
I am just about ready to ask my local support person to install gnumed server
code and any packages needed by the server. Should I have the person go ahead
with what is currently at

... this location. If I get one report about problems with these
packages it would inspire me to go ahead and make packages of the
current code better. One big reason for my delay is that I never
had the feeling that anybody is really using what I did and as long
as I find jobs which result in heavily used things I prefer these
and come back later to the GnuMed packages.
following advice presently at the wiki
http://hherb.com/cgi-bin/twiki/view/Gnumed/DebianInstallers
Presumably the advice at the wiki on updating to the most current CVS source
remains correct and should be followed?
At least I would respond on problems with this in a really short time
scale and would update the stuff as fast as possible. I really hate
open problems which you might obtain from my open bug statistics in
the Debian Bug Tracking database which is at least better as the
average regarding to the <number of open bugs> / <number of packages>
ratio. ;-)
Any other things change in the last few months that would affect the
installation?
Surely.
Kind regards
Andreas.
