If you use redo-public.sh you will not be asked about AMIS at
all ! Also, unless you got the AMIS data there's no use in
wanting to bootstrap AMIS.

If that does not bootstrap you don't have the latest source.
If you are absolutely sure you do I want to hear about it
(because it works here) ...
