I have built new packages and checked in the upgrade script

All went suprisingly well 

Don't forget to add the path to python to your path environment variable so it 
finds the python executable.

Once you have done that just use

upgrade-db.sh 2 3
upgrade-db.sh 3 4
upgrade-db.sh 4 5

for easy upgrades
