Hi all,
Currently there are two options to test/operate GNUmed from an USB drive.
1.) There is a nice tool called UNetbootin available for download which will
let you install the downloaded CD image (iso file) into a USB drive. Given you
have a computer which can boot from USB drives (most recent PC can do this)
simply select USB option at the computers startup and it will start GNUmed
from the USB drive without altering your PC's harddrive.
2.) Windows. There is portable apps. It is an extension which lets you manage
a number of portable applications on your USB drive. GNUmed has been packaged
to run off a USB thumbdrive in Windows.
You can find all info in the wiki and do it yourself or order a ready to run
thumbdrive (4GB) for a reasonable price directly from me.
