Jerzy is right. Edit /usr/sbin/gm-bootstrap_server and
comment out the "exit" inside the UTF-8 check. I guess we'll
have to improve that check.

It would also be useful to post the output of the below as
Jerzy suggested:

> Try to use psql and check your encoding, see:

> postgres=# show lc_ctype;
>   lc_ctype
> -------------
>  pl_PL.UTF-8

>
