While the script said

        uname -o

it returned

./gm-print_doc.sh: line 57: [: =: unary operator expected

Cannot find any of kprinter, gtklp, MacOSX, or acroread.

Cannot print document.

and after I removed the -o and after I replaced Mac OS X with "Darwin"

MacBook:~ djb$ sh ./gm-print_doc.sh

ie.e. I got no error so maybe works? I did only not know how to properly test 
it in terms of the needed syntax, my only try was

MacBook:~ djb$ sh ./gm-print_doc.sh Pagetssclerosis.pdf
MacBook:~ djb$
