So it didn't FUBAR everything after all :) ... it seems my commits are staying with Launchpad, and now I have passed the current CVS .po file, so I will not be uploading it anymore

On 2010-01-28 18:31z (1 hours 22 minutes ago), you uploaded a file with
Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) translations for gnumed in GNUmed trunk in
Launchpad.

We were unable to import it because either this file did not originate
in Launchpad, or you removed the tag we use to mark files exported from
Launchpad.

The reason we require that tag is to prevent translators who work
offline from inadvertently reverting translations made by others.

To fix the problem, please get the latest export from Launchpad, apply
your changes and upload the merged file.
