What I did, though, was to release 5 candidates over the
course of the last 6 weeks or so and ask for help :-)

That way people were enabled to easily test whatever (past
and new) functionality they cared most about.

Sebastian provided absolutely hassle-free RC packages and
the public database provided for a data source to test
against.
