Dear all,
There's combination vaccines vs single-indication vaccines.
There's also mono-valent vs. poly-valent vaccines where I
regard the latter to immunize against several "different"
indications.
There's clearly a difference between
Td vaccine
tetanus and diphteria = two separate indications in a
*combination* vaccine
and
polyvalent pneumococcus vaccine
several strains of pneumoccus in a *polyvalent* vaccine
Can English speakers please suggest terms (as smooth as
"monovalent vs polyvalent") for multi-indication and
single-indication ?
Thanks,
Karsten
