Hi Misha
I first step would seem to be to get you to download and install GNUmed from
git (source)
- launch a client instance from the command line script
- connect to the public (slow, in Germany) database
Once you manage the above,
- set up a local database:
- set up PostgeSQL in the manner required
- bootstrap a database
- connect to it with your local client
Let us know any questions.
What OS (if Linux, what distro, version) are you running?
