I have no idea.

For one thing, sizers don't have a size. They are artificial
objects to manage sizes. Their items have sizes. In this
case the edit area pnl contained within the dialog or else
the dialog itself.

However, this is what GNUmed *already* does (and had been
doing for a long time).
