Would a hot key be (in wxWidgets) a "direct accessor key" and how would you 
prefer that any such thing be made available? Would it be a

        hard coded value e.g. control ^ M
        (the M being in common to english, french, german
        and maybe other languages for measurement)

or…

        a praxis-wide setting configurable in GNUmed > Master

or…

        a individual user preference in

        GNUmed > Preferences > User interface
or      GNUmed > Preferences > EMR

?
