The situation is somewhat analogous for measurements which can return

        No test results to format.

however there is a difference between

        No recorded tests results (at all)

and

        No test results in the (referenced) <time range>.

So I don't know whether the text that is returned can take account of whether a 
time range had been specified. If that is not feasible and if the text should 
have to cover both cases then it maybe needs to be

        No <entity> in our extract for the time range of interest.
