In my GNUmed

        Preferences > EMR > Encounter > Minimum empty age

the default shows as

        1 week

Does this field require the format

        [numeral time_measure]

where

        time_measure = {hour, hours, day, days, week, weeks, month, months, 
year, years}

and treating the same

        1 hour = 1 hours
        2 hour = 2 hours

and what steps are required (if supported) to support other-language values for 
these units?
