yes, but I am not talking about the patient one is departing, because the 
encounter type and start will largely have already been suitably 'set' by the 
user leaving only the endtime and the (possibly) AOE to fill or revise.

I am talking about the ability to easily set the encounter details on 
*activating* a patient. Is there agreement (or disagreement) that this 
reasonable to wish to be able to do?
