No. Whenever I push the most recent code to the public git
repository, the translations from git are merged into the
Launchpad service.

Before release I download translations from Launchpad and
merge them back into the GNUmed source, which goes to git,
and then goes to Launchpad again.

So, full circle :-)

(It's always useful to drop me a line "hey, I've just
translated 50 or so strings over the last few days, you may
want to go get them".)
