Short answer or long answer ?
We habe been discussion this back and forth.
Recently I have come to the conclusion that until Debian is released and all repositories sorted out I should provide a repository for the 1.3 series independent of Debian repositories similar to the Ubuntu repository.
I will most likely use the OpenBuild service.
You can however build packages locally (for yourself) quite easily. Let me know if this is an option for you.
It actually is little more then
dget foo.dsc debuild -B in the debian subdirectory
